Location: Bexley, South East London

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: £110-£120 per day

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity in a supportive primary school? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established three-form entry primary school in Bexley seeking a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a full-time, long-term position for the entire academic year, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

The Role

As the school's HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers and the senior leadership team to deliver high-quality learning experiences across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will lead whole-class lessons during PPA cover, provide targeted intervention support, and help ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
