Hashbrook Campus is seeking a fully-trained Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive learning community on a term time only basis.
About the Role
Working closely under teaching staff and the SEND team, you will:
- Deliver structured learning activities in 1:1, small-group, and whole-class settings
- Provide intensive, dedicated 1:1 support for assigned pupils, including supervision throughout the school day (break times and lunchtimes included)
- Help implement a personalised, bespoke curriculum
- Act as a Key Worker, nurturing strong relationships with pupils, parents, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the SENDCo, Line School Co-ordinator (LSCo), and specialist teachers to embed EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) outcomes
- Offer enhanced supervision for activities (e.g. 2:1 support during off-site trips or specialist sessions such as swimming)

About You
To apply, you must have:
- HLTA status or an equivalent qualification/experience (e.g. NVQ Level 4 or 5)
- Proven experience supporting pupils with additional needs, ideally within a SEND or specialist education environment
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies, SEND legislation and frameworks
- The ability to demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving to engage learners’ confidence
