Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - £120 - £140 per day - Term-Time Contract
Are you an experienced teaching assistant passionate about supporting young learners in a vibrant primary school environment? If so, this opportunity in London could be perfect for you!
A well-regarded Primary School in the Borough of Wandsworth is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join their team in September. This is a term-time only role paid on a daily rate.
What will this HLTA position involve?
- Delivering planned learning activities and supporting children both in and out of the classroom
- Taking responsibility for whole classes in the absence of teachers
- Supporting children with additional learning needs and promoting inclusion
- Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to lesson planning and children's progress
- Assisting with assessment, monitoring, and reporting on pupil development

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Supporting teaching and learning across key stages in a primary school
- Leading classes when required and assisting teachers in delivering curriculum
- £120 - £140 per day - Term-Time Contract (Daily pay based on experience)
- September Start - Term Time Only - Full Time availability preferred
- Based in the London Borough of Wandsworth
ABOUT YOU
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience working with primary school children
- Confident in managing whole classes and delivering learning activities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Committed to supporting children's educational and social development
