Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact?
Salfords Primary School is seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team. Your Opportunity
Working under the direction of the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, both individually and in small groups, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. As part of GLF Schools, you'll also benefit from opportunities for professional development and collaboration across a wider network of supportive professionals.
What We Are Looking For
- Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification.
- Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
- Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
- Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

About Salfords Primary School
Our School sits within an established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with, our cluster includes the following other schools; Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Merstham Primary School, Lime Tree Primary School.

- Salary: GLF Associate Specialist: Point 1 £27,061
- Actual Salary: £22,633.74
- Hours of work: 35hrs per week (39 weeks per year)
