The Meadows School (Sandwell) (SIPS)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Meadows for a SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced person to join us.

The successful applicant will have a number of responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons across key stages 3 - 5. Relationships with staff, students, and parents are important, and the successful applicant will need to utilize a range of engagement strategies.

We are looking for:

  • A higher-level teaching assistant who has experience of working with students with complex and profound needs (please note full training will be given)
  • An enthusiastic person with real passion for working with children with SEND
  • Someone who has a passion for working and supporting children
  • Someone who has high expectations of pupils and is committed to making a real difference to our students' learning outcomes
  • Someone who is flexible and open to new ideas
  • A team player
  • Someone who will fully support the ethos and aims of our schools
  • A Level 4 qualified higher level teaching assistant
  • Someone who has English & Maths GCSE minimum grade C/4

  • Hours: 32.5 hours, Term Time plus 1 week
  • Grade: Grade E, SCP 18-25, £31,537 - £36,363 (Actual Salary £24,824 - £29,483 p.a.) + SEN Allowance
  • Location: The Meadows School, Dudley Road East, Oldbury, B69 3BU/Connor Road, West Bromwich, B71 3DJ

This position may be based at either of the sites.
