Job Opportunity: Cardiac Physiologist/Clinical Scientist
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly specialized Cardiac Physiologist/Clinical Scientist to lead and develop our CRM and Invasive service here at UHCW Trust.
About UHCW Trust
UHCW is one of the largest acute Trust’s in the country. With 17 Cardiology Consultants, we provide World Class innovation and research in all aspects of Cardiology.
Role Responsibilities
- Report to: Head of Cardiac Investigations Department
- Manage: A team of Cardiac Physiologists
- Support: The training needs of junior physiologists and specialist registrars
Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

Key Duties
- Work independently as a highly specialist practitioner across the range of CRM devices and invasive procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Actively contribute to service developments and expansion.
- Manage a team of Cardiac Physiologists, participate in appraisals, and work to achieve agreed set objectives.
- Ensure relevant accreditation is maintained for self and team.
