Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialist Sensory Occupational Therapy team, working across Kirklees as part of the wider Children’s Expert Team.
- You will play a key role in delivering and embedding high-quality sensory OT support within Woodley Special School and/or supporting children with sensory needs in mainstream and virtual school settings, depending on your experience and interests.
- The service supports children and young people up to the age of 19 and works closely with education providers and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, child-centred care.
- This is a flexible, 15-hour-per-week Band 7 role, offering the opportunity to shape your working pattern around your needs while making a meaningful impact. With potential to increase hours in this exciting growing team.
- For the right candidate, there is the potential to join the team at Band 6 and be supported to complete the necessary sensory training to become a highly specialised Occupational Therapist in sensory practice.
