Do you want to help shape, support, and contribute to the safety and continuous improvement of Redbridge’s streets, ensuring our communities can travel across the borough confidently, safely, and efficiently? Our aim is to maintain a well-managed public highway that allows residents to walk, cycle, drive, or use public transport with ease.

About the Role
We are seeking a committed Highway Engineer to deliver the planning, design, and management of Redbridge’s highway network assets. Working within a professional and supportive team, you will develop engineering solutions, review designs, manage schemes, and coordinate works to improve a safe and resilient network.
This role offers varied office-based and on-site work across the borough, with opportunities to build your knowledge of highway design, asset management, and project delivery. If you are motivated, detail-focused, and passionate about delivering safe streets for all, this role provides an excellent platform for professional growth within a progressive authority.
