We are looking for a Project Manager to play a key role within our growing Alliance partnership in Aylesbury. This is a unique opportunity to work client-side, embedded within a collaborative delivery environment, where your decisions directly shape outcomes for communities.
The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of highway improvement and maintenance schemes, working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and specialists. You'll take ownership of project performance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Your role
Lead the end-to-end delivery of work packages within a major highways programme. Provide expert project and programme leadership, ensuring best practice standards. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cost, schedule, risks, and delivery strategy. Build and maintain strong stakeholder and alliance relationships. Produce clear, insightful monthly reports (programme, financials, risk). Drive effective communication and collaboration across project teams. Proactively identify opportunities to add value and improve delivery outcomes.

About You
Experience & Qualifications
Project Management qualification (APM, PMP, PRINCE2) or demonstrable experience delivering complex projects. Desired experience in transportation or infrastructure projects.
Key Skills
Strong leadership with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships. Confidence in managing change, risk, and resource planning. Experience working with NEC4 contracts is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and financial reporting. Ability to work both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams. A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.

Security clearance
