As a Highways Electrical Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced electrical teams, gaining hands-on experience installing, maintaining, inspecting and testing electrical equipment used on roads and motorways, including street lighting, traffic signals and associated systems.

You will be based at our depot on the M25 network at South Mimms.

You will be enrolled on the Highways Electrical Apprenticeship which you will attend block release and travel to Norwich to attend (accommodation and travel arrangements and costs supported by the business)

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for individuals who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience. No formal qualifications are required for our Level 2 Apprenticeship, as it offers a blend of practical, on-the-job training alongside structured learning to help you develop key skills.

This role involves regular site-based visits, including travel on-site and between locations. Before joining Balfour Beatty, you must hold a full UK driver's license.
