The Role
We're looking for a talented Highways Engineer to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking consultancy delivering some of the most high-profile highways, public realm, and active travel projects across London and the UK.
This is a chance to step into a role where your work genuinely shapes the city. From busy urban corridors to transformational streetscape schemes, you'll take designs from early concept right through to construction, working alongside some of the industry's most experienced engineers and designers on projects that make a visible, lasting impact.

Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to highways design projects, from concept to construction.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of UK standards, including:
- DMRB
- TfL Streetscape Guidance
- LTN 1/20
- LCDS
- TSRGD
- Utilise AutoCAD confidently to deliver design solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply CDM 2015 principles in a busy, collaborative project environment.
Requirements
- At least three years' highways design experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK highways standards as listed above.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of urban, real-world design solutions.
- Experience delivering public realm and active travel schemes.
