Role
We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Highways Engineer to contribute to technical design work, support the delivery of major infrastructure projects, work closely with senior engineers and technicians across all design stages. As part of this role, you will be expected to:
Support the design and delivery of highways and infrastructure schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and implementation Assist in the preparation of design information including: Horizontal and vertical alignments Junction layouts Cross-sections and typical details Technical reports Respond to technical queries on live construction projects Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering (Minimum grade 2:1) Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent numeracy and analytical skills Ability to use industry software such as AutoCAD Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams Enthusiastic to learn new skills and develop within a team environment Keen interest in highways design Graduate member of ICE – With aspirations to gain full membership (IEng or CEng) Knowledge of relevant design standards, preferable but not essential Industry experience including placement year is desirable but not essential
