This role lets you be part of the solution.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will combine manual work and outdoor tasks across all seasons:

  • Highways repairs: Address potholes, patching, drainage systems, footways, and broader highway maintenance needs.
  • Data entry & compliance: Use tablets/applications for safety reporting and maintenance records.
  • Driving & equipment operation: (Upon training) Help manage vehicles, plant, and materials in your custody.
  • Emergency readiness: Training for winter maintenance + standby duty, including out-of-hours emergencies as part of a rota system.

Requirements

Must-Have Criteria
Clean driving licence
LGV Class C driving licence (or commitment to acquire)
Active CSCS card
