Your impact
As a Senior Highways Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering technical excellence, innovation, and safety across a wide range of transportation projects. You’ll take ownership of key design deliverables, identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiencies, and ensuring scope changes are escalated appropriately to maintain programme and budget integrity.
You’ll collaborate closely with discipline leads and project stakeholders to produce high-quality outcomes, while also mentoring and supporting less experienced team members—helping to build capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Here's what you'll need
Design experience in transportation and the built environment Attained a relevant professional qualification, for example a degree in engineering, and CEng/ IEng or equivalent qualifications or work experience. Technical experience of delivering local and/or major highways projects or the land side alignment elements in adjacent markets such as Water Aviation or rail Thorough understanding of commonly used design standards such as Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) or international equivalents. Sound knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and a passion for fostering safety and wellbeing. Ability to work independently and effectively within a global multi-disciplinary team.
