About The Role
As a Hilti Store Representative, you will take ownership of our Ipswich Hilti Store, creating an outstanding customer experience while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
This is a unique opportunity to run the store with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for day-to-day operations, customer relationships, store performance, and stock management. While you'll work closely with colleagues across sales, customer service, and repair services, you will be responsible for running the store independently and ensuring every customer leaves with the right solution for their needs.
Through product demonstrations, relationship building, and proactive customer engagement, you'll become a trusted partner to local tradespeople, contractors, and businesses, helping them improve productivity through our market-leading tools, software, and services.

What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Hilti Store, ensuring an excellent customer experience and smooth operational performance
- Deliver exceptional customer service through consultations, product recommendations, and hands-on demonstrations of Hilti products and services
- Build and develop strong relationships with both existing and new customers, creating a positive and professional store experience
- Proactively reach out to local customers through outbound calls and courtesy follow-ups, identifying opportunities to support their needs and drive engagement with the Hilti Store
- Manage store operations, including order processing, incoming goods, acceptance of repairs, inventory management, and cash administration
- Work closely with field-based sales teams, repair workshops, Customer Services, and Credit Services to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Stay informed on Hilti products, services, and business initiatives to provide relevant and value-added support to customers

What You’ll Bring
- Experience within a trade counter, builders’ merchant, electrical wholesale, tool hire, industrial distribution, or customer-facing sales environment
- Previous responsibility for supporting the day-to-day operation of a branch, counter, store, or customer service environment
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term customer relationships
- Confidence engaging with trade professionals, contractors, and business owners
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and support sales growth
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to customer needs and problem solving
- A natural sense of drive, curiosity, and motivation to learn, develop, and grow
