Company Overview

Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative orthopaedic products and solutions. Specialising in joint replacement, spine surgery, and sports medicine, they are committed to improving patient outcomes through proprietary technology and a focus on clinical education.

They are currently experiencing significant growth in the UK and are seeking a Product Manager for their Hip & Knee portfolio to play a foundational role in shaping the future of the UK business.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading all UK downstream marketing activity for the hip and knee implant portfolio.
  • Supporting the full product lifecycle, from launch execution to portfolio optimisation.
  • Translating global product strategy into clear, actionable UK commercial plans and marketing campaigns.
  • Equipping the sales team with compelling product messaging, training, and commercial support tools.
  • Driving clinical adoption through surgeon education, cadaveric labs, and in-theatre support.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other clinical stakeholders.
  • Gathering and feeding back customer insight, competitor intelligence, and market dynamics to inform business planning.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience

We are seeking candidates with:

  • A background in product management, downstream marketing, or a commercially-focused clinical role within the orthopaedic sector.
  • Strong product and market knowledge in hip and knee arthroplasty or joint reconstruction.
  • Proven ability to engage confidently with surgeons, sales teams, and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Experience translating market insights and clinical data into effective commercial strategies.
  • Highly organised and structured, with the ability to manage a broad and evolving remit.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to enabling technologies such as robotics, navigation, or augmented reality.
  • Experience supporting NHS procurement processes, including tenders and business cases.
  • Previous involvement in organising and delivering surgeon education events.

  • Base salary: GBP 65,000 - 85,000 per year
