Eaton Syalon are delighted to be partnering with a growing and well respected hire business to recruit an experienced Hire Controller.
You must be able to drive to be considered for the role.
It is essential that you have previous experience within a hire controller role or come from a plant/tool background.
This is a busy, hands on position at the centre of operations, perfect for someone who understands the pace of the hire industry and enjoys keeping customers, drivers and equipment moving efficiently.

The role will involve:
- Coordinating hire requests from enquiry through to completion
- Scheduling equipment, transport and availability
- Acting as a key contact for customers, resolving queries and changes
- Liaising with drivers, depots and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate system information and documentation
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the operation

What’s essential:
- Previous experience in a Hire Controller role
- Background within plant or tool hire
- Ability to manage multiple live orders in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, team-focused attitude
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30 AM - 4.00 PM (Early Finish on a Friday)
