About the Role

English 1 is now hiring motivated, globally minded individuals for full-time English teaching jobs in China. We welcome candidates with no prior teaching experience—we’ll provide full training, ready-made teaching resources, and visa sponsorship, making this the ideal opportunity for graduates, career changers, or international career seekers.

Responsibilities

  • Teach English to young learners (ages 3–16) in engaging, interactive, and immersive classrooms.
  • Deliver high-energy lessons using English 1’s award-winning curriculum and digital tools.
  • Provide constructive feedback and help students build confidence in their English skills.
  • Participate in school events, cultural activities, and student engagement programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
  • Valid passport
  • Genuine passion for education, travel, and cultural exchange
  • (Preferred but not required) ESL/TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification—we can sponsor your certification if needed
  • A clean background check
