Are you an experienced ESL teacher or educator ready to take your teaching skills overseas?

English 1 is looking for passionate, culturally curious teachers who want to level up their career, experience life in China, and join a global community of educators. Whether you have several years of classroom experience or you're transitioning from another teaching role, this is your chance to:

What You’ll Do

  • Teach English to young learners (ages 3–16) in interactive, high-energy classrooms
  • Deliver engaging lessons using English 1’s award-winning curriculum and digital tools
  • Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their growth

    • Cultural programs
    • Community activities

⚠️ Note:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in any subject)
  • Valid passport
  • Genuine interest in:

Certification:

  • ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) — preferred, but we can sponsor if accepted

Clearance:

  • Clean background check
