English 1 is recruiting entry-level English teachers to teach English in China. This role is designed specifically for first-time teachers, graduates, and professionals transitioning into education—whether you’ve never taught before or are exploring new career paths.

About the Role

We provide structured training, lesson materials, career guidance, and visa sponsorship. Former students of ours now work as well-qualified headteachers and directors, and our teachers hold esteemed roles in our China and Indonesia operations.

Responsibilities

  • Teach English to young learners aged 3–16 in a dynamic and immersive classroom setting
  • Deliver energy-packed lessons using our award-winning curriculum and teaching platform
  • Build students' confidence and encourage constructive feedback
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and social engagement programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any subject)
  • Valid passport
  • Demonstrated interest in education, global opportunities, and cross-cultural exchange
  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (or willingness to complete with company support)
  • Clean criminal record via government/law enforcement
  • Must be genuine about teaching and willing to adapt
