Role Overview

English 1 is recruiting entry-level English teachers to teach English in China. This full-time, stable role is designed for first-time teachers, graduates, and professionals looking to transition into education, with full training, ready-made lessons, and ongoing support.


What You’ll Do

Teach English to young learners aged 3–16 in an engaging, interactive classroom setting. Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-energy lessons using English 1’s award-winning curriculum and digital tools
  • Providing constructive feedback to help students build confidence in English
  • Participating in school events, cultural activities, and student engagement programs
  • Teaching with enthusiasm and investment in student growth

What You’ll Get

To qualify for this role, you must meet these criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree (in any subject)
  • A valid passport
  • Genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange
  • Wilson ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus – we can sponsor
  • A clean criminal background check
