History Teacher – Outstanding Secondary School in Lambeth
Location: Borough of Lambeth (South London) Status: Permanent (Start: September) / Immediate (April after half-term) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (5 days per week) Pay: £185–£268 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking an inspiring History Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in the borough of Lambeth, where high academic standards and student success are priorities. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4 History, ensuring students are engaged, challenged, and inspired.
- Prepare and mark lesson plans, differentiate instruction, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and a lifelong love of History.
- Lead enrichment activities, academ.asset competitions, or extracurricular projects (potential opportunity for KS5/tutorial roles).
- Collaborate with department colleagues to plan, coordinate, and evaluate the curriculum.
- Use diverse resources, including SKHS and project-based learning, to create dynamic lessons.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge in History, including familiarity with national curriculum frameworks.
- Demonstrate a passion for History—evidenced through innovative lesson planning, extracurricular engagement, or subject expertise.
- Excel in classroom management, maintaining a professional and supportive atmosphere for diverse student needs.
- Be committed to setting high expectations while creating a stimulating, motivational learning experience.
- Welcome collaboration, flexible responsiveness, and a "no-limiting-past" attitude in both teaching approach and career outlook.
