About the role
We are seeking a Finance Transformation and ERP Managing Director to lead growth and delivery for large-scale finance transformation programmes across Health and Local Public Services sectors. This senior leadership role focuses on driving outcome-driven, technology-enabled finance transformations utilising modern cloud ERP platforms and data insights.
You will work closely with senior client leaders such as CFOs and COOs, shaping multi-year transformation strategies that improve finance operating models, controls, and enterprise platform adoption. By building repeatable delivery models and sector-specific assets, you will help scale successful implementation while ensuring strong governance and risk management.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of public sector finance transformation, embedding innovations like AI-enabled planning and digital operating models, all while leading a talented team of directors, managers, and specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand a portfolio of complex finance transformation and ERP-enabled programmes within Health and Local Public Services sectors, overseeing both sales and delivery.
- Build and maintain senior client relationships to create demand and convert multi-year, outcome-focused engagements.
- Develop and implement scalable delivery models, reusable tools, and sector-specific playbooks to enhance operational efficiency and margins.
- Oversee risk, quality, and contract management to safeguard project delivery and client reputation.
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team across finance transformation, ERP process redesign, data insight, controls, and change management.
- Drive innovation by incorporating advanced technologies such as AI and cloud ERP into client solutions and propositions.
- Collaborate with technology alliance partners (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft) and cross-functional teams to tailor offerings to public sector needs.
- Support selected wider Public Sector opportunities where there is strategic alignment, as a secondary area of focus alongside the core Health and Local Public Services remit.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
