Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Full-Time
Location: Chatham, Kent
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive primary school team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be confident working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering planned learning activities, supporting teaching and learning, and leading whole-class sessions when required.

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status or has equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Has experience of working within a primary school setting.
- Is confident supporting learning across both KS1 and KS2.
- Can deliver high-quality learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude.
- Is committed to promoting high standards of achievement, behaviour and inclusion for all pupils.
