Job Description
Job Title: Holiday Club Activity Leader
Enthusiastic Playworker / Activity Leader required to support and deliver engaging childcare activities within a busy holiday club in Tonbridge
We are seeking a caring, energetic and reliable individual to join our Holiday Club team, supporting children through a range of structured play, sports, games, and creative activities in a safe and inclusive environment.
Contract:
Holiday Club Only (casual)
Pay:
Up to £12.71 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Working Hours
School Holidays:
8.15am - 5.45pm, Mon - Fri
Summer Dates Available:
20 July – 2 September Ongoing opportunities during future school holidays (excluding Bank Holidays & weekends)
Please note: Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of three weeks during the summer holidays.

About The Role
At Junior Adventures Group, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Playworker / Activity Leader to join our growing team.
You will help deliver high-quality childcare in a holiday club setting, creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and develop.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive attitude, and wants to make a difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured and engaging activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play Create a fun, inclusive and safe environment for children Support children during arrival, activities, and collection Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures at all times Ensure all sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed correctly Provide refreshments for children while maintaining hygiene standards Assist with setting up and packing away play areas and equipment Complete relevant documentation including accident and incident forms Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues, and schools Carry out basic equipment checks and maintain a safe environment Support and promote positive behaviour and engagement

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children (desirable) A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, responsible, and able to follow procedures Ability to create a fun and safe environment for children Energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for childcare and playwork
This role may also suit candidates with experience as a playworker, childcare assistant, activity leader, or similar role.

This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
