Holiday Camp Director - School Holidays Leader
The Independent Schools Council is hiring a Holiday Camp Manager to oversee daily operations at St Francis College in Letchworth. The role involves:
- Leading a team of staff
- Delivering stimulating and engaging activities for children aged 4–13
- Ensuring a safe, fun, and well-organised holiday camp environment

The role is based in Letchworth Garden City (SG6, UK) and offers:
- Competitive salary: £15.50 – £16.75 per hour
- Additional holiday pay
- Permanent position starting in July 2025
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate high-quality activities for young campers
- Oversee the safety, welfare, and development of all children in attendance
- Manage a team of assistant camp leaders and volunteers
- Collaborate closely with school leaders and parents for a seamless experience
- Maintain strong relationships with local parents and carers

Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare, youth work, or equivalent roles
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build strong team and child relationships
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection protocols
- Good communication skills and warmth in dealing with children
