Fun Week Activity Leader – Summer School Holidays

We’re looking for enthusiastic, engaging individuals to deliver structuring sessions during the Fun Weeks in school holidays at Chesham Leisure Centre, Chesham.

You’ll work to design and deliver Fun, Inclusive & Educational activities for children aged 5–12, including:

  • Multi-Sports
  • Performing Arts/Dance
  • Swimming
  • Bouncy Castle/Soft Play
  • Team Games
  • Esports
  • Lazer Tag
  • Nerf Wars
  • Lego Building
  • Arts & Crafts

  • A passionate interest in working with and facilitating fun for primary-aged children.
  • Experienced or willing to develop coaching and skill-led delivery.
  • Punctual, reliable and committed to session commitments.
  • A proven track record in delivering activities to children aged 5–12.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to engage kindly with children, parents, and teachers.

Preferred Requirements

  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Experience in childcare or primary-aged group leading.
  • Familiarity/delivery experience in session types including Arts & Crafts or Multi-Sports.
  • Completion of qualifications (sixth form, college, or university) relevant to the role.
  • Level 2 (or above) Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • Level 1 (or above) Sports Coaching qualification.

  • Deliver challenging yet enjoyable, inclusive sessions tailored for children aged 5–12.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for every child.
  • Consistently deliver high-standard coaching and activities.
  • Follow Let’s Play’s coaching philosophy: prioritise Fun, Inclusivity & Education.
  • Understand individual child needs and adapt sessions accordingly.
  • Handle first aid and emergencies safely and appropriately.
  • Be approachable for parent/teacher queries and feedback.
  • Commit to excellence in every session with enthusiasm.
