Session Leader – Holiday Clubs (Fun Weeks) – Watford
Location: Watford Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford
We are seeking passionate and dynamic individuals to deliver exciting, high-quality holiday activities for children aged 5–12 during our Fun Weeks in the school holidays.
About the Role
As a Session Leader, you will deliver fun, inclusive, and educational activities to young children while ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of children through a variety of exciting sessions, including:
- Multi-Sports
- Performing Arts/Dance
- Swimming
- Bouncy Castle/Soft Play
- Team Games
- Esports
- Laser Tag
- Nerf Wars
- Lego Building
- Arts & Crafts
Our sessions are designed to have a positive impact on young learners, fostering creativity, teamwork, and healthy competition.

Essential Requirements
- A keen interest and passion for working with and facilitating games for primary-aged children (5–12).
- Experience in delivering activities to children of this age group.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and teachers.
- Willingness to develop coaching and facilitation skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Clean UK driving licence (optional but helpful).
- Experience in a childcare setting (assisted daycare, after-school clubs, etc.).
- Experience or willingness to lead Arts & Crafts or Multi-Sports activities.
- Completed relevant Sixth Form/College/University course (childcare, sports, or related).
- Level 2 (or above) Childcare qualification.
- Level 1 (or above) Sports Coaching qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-standard, engaging sessions that are fun, inclusive, and educationally valuable.
- Create a positive learning environment where children feel challenged and motivated.
- Follow our coaching philosophy: Ensuring all sessions are Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
- Adapt activities to suit individual children’s needs and abilities.
- Manage first aid/emergency situations as required.
- Ensure clear communication with parents/carers about children’s progress and engagement.
- Stay committed to delivering sessions to the highest standard.
- Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and passion to your role.
