Holiday Club Play Leader
Holiday Club_team (Activities Tutor) – Hungerford Leisure Centre
We’re looking for enthusiastic, passionate individuals to deliver fun-filled activities during our Holiday Fun Weeks for children aged 5–12 at Hungerford Leisure Centre.
Our programme includes a variety of activities designed to create a positive impact on young learners. Each day, you’ll lead sessions such as:
- Multi-Sports
- Performing Arts/Dance
- Swimming
- Bouncy Castle/Soft Play
- Team Games
- Esports & Lazer Tag
- Nerf Wars
- Lego Building
- Arts & Crafts

Essential Requirements
- A strong passion for working with children (aged 5–12)
- Aboriginality to support child development through fun activities
- Ability to develop coaching skills and engage young learners
- Punctual, reliable, and fully committed
- Experience working with primary-age children
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable interacting with children, teachers, and parents

Preferred but not essential:
- Clean UK driving licence
- Previous experience in childcare settings
- Experience with activities like Multi-Sports, Arts & Crafts, Performing Arts
- Level 2 or above in Childcare
- Level 1 or above in Sports Coaching
- Completion of a relevant course (Sixth Form, College, or University)
Duties & Responsibilities
As an Activities Tutor, you’ll:
- Deliver sessions that are challenging, fun, and realistic for young learners
- Foster an engaging and inclusive environment
- Consistently uphold high-standard coaching in line with our Fun, Inclusive & Educational philosophy
- Adapt activities to meet each child’s individual needs
- Handle first aid and emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Be approachable when liaising with parents/carers
- Commit to high-quality session delivery and creative, passionate approaches
