Company Description Junior Adventures Group Job Description Holiday Club Sports Coach / Activity Leader – Casual (BA15) Enthusiastic Sports Coach / Activity Leader required to deliver fun, engaging activities for children in a holiday club and wraparound care setting in Bradford-on-Avon. We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our Holiday Club team, supporting children through a range of sports, games, and creative activities in a safe and inclusive environment. Location: Bradford-on-Avon, BA15 Start Date: 20 July 2026 Contract: Casual – Holiday Club (Summer & future school holidays, with optional term-time wraparound care) Pay: £14.00 per hour (plus holiday pay) Working Hours School Holidays: 08:30 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday) Summer period: 20 July – 2 September Term Time (optional wraparound care): 07:30 – 09:00 (Breakfast Club) 15:00 – 18:00 (After School Club) Please note: Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of three weeks during the summer holidays. You will be part of the UK’s leading provider of children’s wraparound care, delivering engaging experiences across Breakfast Clubs, After School Clubs, and Holiday Clubs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has energy and enthusiasm, and is keen to make a positive difference every day. Key Responsibilities Deliver fun, inclusive and engaging sports and activity sessions Plan and support a variety of activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play Encourage participation and support children’s development and confidence Maintain a safe and welcoming environment at all times Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures Complete relevant documentation including accident and incident forms Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and schools Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality childcare What We’re Looking For Previous experience working with or coaching children (desirable) A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow procedures and maintain high safety standards Reliable, responsible, and able to build rapport quickly Energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment This role may also be suitable for candidates with experience as a sports coach, activity leader, playworker, childcare assistant, or youth worker. Safeguarding This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
