Role Description
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes across Norwich and Norfolk. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. Home Care Assistants play a vital role in supporting daily living, building trusted relationships with service users, and ensuring care is delivered in line with care plans and company values.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to service users in their own homes, following personalised care plans and risk assessments.
- Assist with personal care, medication support where trained, meal preparation, mobility support, and household tasks.
- Offer companionship and reassurance.
- Accurate record keeping.
- Clear communication with the office team.
- Prompt reporting of any concerns, changes in needs, incidents, or safeguarding issues to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users.
Skills And Experience
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
- A caring, respectful, and professional approach.
- Genuine commitment to supporting people to remain independent in their own homes.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to complete training and follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as travel between service users’ homes is required.

Working Hours, Pay, and Benefits
- Salary: £25,000 per year.
- Mileage: Paid at 25p per mile.
- Working Hours: European shift pattern of 7 days worked in every 14-day period.
