What You’ll Receive

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide one-to-one support to older people in their own homes, helping them stay independent, comfortable, and connected to the community.
No two days are ever the same.
You could be:
- Supporting clients to enjoy outings such as afternoon tea, shopping trips, or fish and chips in Whitby
- Helping with personal care and daily routines
- Providing medication support
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and safe movement
- Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
- Helping with shopping, meal preparation, cooking, and light household tasks
- Promoting independence, dignity, comfort, and companionship in every visit
This role can involve:
- Carrying shopping or household items
- Kneeling or working in low positions when supporting clients
- Assisting with mobility and manual handling

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people who are:
- Kind, caring, and reliable
- Friendly and respectful
- Passionate about helping others
- Comfortable travelling locally
You’ll also need:
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to your own car
- The right to work in the UK
No Experience? We’ll Train You.
Many of our best Care Assistants joined us with no previous care experience.
