Care Assistant
Location: Inverclyde & Renfrewshire Contract type: Care Delivery Salary: £14.25 per hour

- Helping with essential tasks such as meal preparation, medication support, light household management, and more.

Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will:
- Build meaningful relationships with those you support, fostering trust and reliability.
- Assist with personal care, including dressing, mobility support, continence care, and grooming, always with dignity and respect.
- Provide companionship – engaging in conversations, shared activities, and emotional support to combat loneliness.
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration and medication management.
- Support (within agreed boundaries) with light household tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment.
- Offer emotional and psychological reassurance, helping individuals feel secure and valued.
- Travel between customer homes to provide consistent and flexible care (a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential).
- Follow care plans meticulously and ensure everyone's safety, independence, and well-being.

Requirements
We’re looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who embody our ethos of care. Essential criteria include:
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
- A warm, kind attitude with a genuine passion for making a positive difference.
- Strong communication skills that help form trusting relationships.
- Flexibility, reliability, and respectful professionalism.
- The ability to work independently and follow structured care plans.
- Commitment to providing outstanding care with passion and dedication.
Previous care experience is beneficial, but not essential – we’ll provide full training to build your skills and confidence.
