We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Home Care Professional to join our amazing team here at Radfield Home Care - Derby, Ashbourne & South Derbyshire.

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Professional to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those they assist.

Key Requirements

  • Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle
  • Must be over 18
  • Must not require a sponsorship
  • Able to work between 7am - 10pm
  • This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references are required (due to vulnerability of clients).

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including:
    • Personal care
    • Meal preparation
    • Medication management
    • Light housekeeping
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe transportation
  • Keep accurate records of services provided and report any changes in client condition or needs
  • Ensure the home environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the client’s well-being
  • Utilise IT systems for scheduling and reporting, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities for social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment
