Home Care Worker – Domiciliary (Driver with Own Vehicle Required)

Zero-Hour Contract Various shifts available Monday – Sunday, 7am – 10pm

What You Will Do

  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while maintaining dignity and comfort.
  • Support Daily Living: Help with meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Offer Companionship: Provide emotional support and reduce isolation.
  • Conduct Wellbeing Checks: Regularly ensure clients’ safety and needs are met.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company policies on privacy, health & safety, and care standards.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and share insights to enhance services.

What We Are Looking For

✔ Experience in Care – Preferred but not essential; a genuine passion for helping others is key. ✔ Positive Attitude – Friendly, supportive demeanour with a strong care ethic. ✔ Excellent Communication Skills – Clear and empathetic interaction with clients and families. ✔ Flexibility – Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts. ✔ Diligence – Professional approach to care tasks and wellbeing checks. ✔ Valid Driver’s License – Clean license highly preferred (but not essential). ✔ Work-Related Car Insurance – Ideally held or willing to obtain (preferred but not mandatory). ✔ Background Checks – Willingness to complete necessary verifications. ✔ Weekend Availability – Must be available as required. ✔ Own Vehicle Required – Must hold or be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance.
