Home Care Worker (Domiciliary Care)
Shifts Available
Zero-Hour Contract – Flexible Shifts Available Monday to Sunday, 7am – 10pm
Locations
Higher Blackley, Crumpsall, Cheetham, Charlestown, Harpurhey, Moston, Miles Platting and Newton Heath, Clayton and Openshaw, Ancoats and Beswick
Essential Requirements
An applicant must hold:
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle
- Be willing to obtain work-related car insurance

What You Will Do
As a Home Care Worker, you’ll deliver high-quality care in clients’ homes, assisting with:
- Personal Care – Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining dignity
- Daily Living Support – Meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and shopping
- Companionship – Providing emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation
- Wellbeing Checks – Ensuring clients remain safe, comfortable, and content
- Compliance Adherence – Following company policies, health and safety, and care standards
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate and committed individuals with:
- Experience in Care (preferred) – Trials considered for those with a genuine passion for helping others
- Positive Attitude – Friendly, supportive, and empathetic with clients
- Excellent Communication Skills – Able to engage with clients, families, and colleagues professionally
- Flexibility – Availability for weekends and shift work as required
- Diligence – Responsible, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
- Driving Skills – Must have a valid, clean driving licence and reliable vehicle
- Insurance – Prepared to provide (or have) work-related Class 1 Business Insurance
- Willingness for Background Checks – Required as part of the recruitment process
