Home Delivery Driver – Sainsbury’s

Our stores are energetic hubs nestled within communities, delivering unbeatable value, premium quality, and exceptional service. Working as one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be the key ingredient that brings our customers' online orders right to their doorsteps, ensuring they’re happy every time.
Eligibility
To join our team, you must:
- Be over 18 with a full UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months, including no more than 6 penalty points.
- Complete an online driving risk assessment during the recruitment process and, if successful, pass a driving assessment when you join.
- Have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Governor-approved van operation: Safely drive a 3.5-tonne van to deliver groceries on time and in perfect condition.
- Pre-delivery checks: Ensure the van is safe, organised, and clean, and that delivery cases are secure before setting out.
- Exceptional customer service: Answer inquiries, handle substitutions, and keep customers updated on any delays.
- Product expertise: Build knowledge of our range of products, services, and promotions to assist customers with recommendations.
- General store support: Assist across the store where needed when not on deliveries.
