Home Delivery Driver
Delivery Driver – Sainsbury’s Doorstep Service
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving a 3.5-tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, on-time and in excellent condition
- Safely conducting pre-delivery checks—ensuring the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and delivery cases are secure
- Navigating different locations and conditions for safe and efficient deliveries, including urban areas, residential streets, and country lanes
- Serving customers professionally by handling enquiries, substitutions, and keeping them informed about any delays
- Building in-depth knowledge of Sainsbury’s products, services, and promotions to assist with recommendations
- Supporting across the store when required, often when not on deliveries
