Home Delivery Driver
Job Description: Sainsbury’s Driver / Deliverer
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving a 3.5-tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring they arrive on-time and in a pristine condition
- Performing pre-delivery checks to confirms the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and securely loaded before driving
- Safely navigating deliveries across various locations and conditions, including busy residential streets and narrow country lanes
- Providing exceptional customer service, including:
- Handling questions or substitutions
- Keeping customers updated on any delays
- Offering product recommendations based on deep knowledge of Sainsbury’s offerings, promotions, and services
- Assisting across the store as required when not delivering
