Your top priority is to advise customers on their home design needs and deliver stylish solutions, all while fostering long-lasting relationships and driving sales. On your feet and engaged, your exceptional customer service skills are essential, and you’ll be supported from day one with training and flexible working.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
As a Home Design Consultant, you will:
- Visit customers’ homes or deliver virtual consultations to develop personalised, inspiring designs suited to their lifestyle, preferences, and budget
- Ensure safety and security during in-home or store visits—for yourself and customers—adherence to company policies, and fantastic service
- Use your creative vision to understand and translate customer aspirations, blending form and function across interiors and furnishings
- Clearly explain product availability, pricing, lead times, and design ideas to align expectations
- Achieve performance targets with the opportunity to earn an additional performance bonus
Requirements
Must-Have
You:
- Create striking designs consistently—natural flair for interiors with attention to budgeting and practicality
- Drive results with commitment and enthusiasm, ensuring customers move forward with confidence in their choices
- Communicate clearly and elegantly—emotionally connecting with clients and providing guidance through any project stage
- Be adaptable and flexible to opportunities that align with customer convenience and sales targets
- Organise virtual client meetings with confidence and professionalism
- Hold a full UK driving licence and personal access to a car (home and store visits required)
