About the Role

Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

Home Decarbonisation

We’re working to eliminate fuel poverty, providing end-to-end management in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Our team works closely with homeowners and local authority partners to provide home energy advice to prepare for Net Zero. You’ll be part of our Home Decarbonisation team, working across community programmes designed to support households most in need.

This is a field-based and customer-facing role covering South Yorkshire, combining in-home visits with telephone support, helping residents access the right solutions to improve their homes and reduce energy costs.

What will you be doing?

As a Home Energy Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents—particularly those in vulnerable situations—to better manage their energy use and access available support. You’ll be:

  • Providing face-to-face and telephone energy advice, tailored to individual household needs
  • Supporting residents to reduce energy usage, lower bills, and improve home efficiency
  • Identifying risks, safeguarding concerns and signposting to additional support services
  • Recommending practical solutions, including energy-saving behaviours and retrofit measures
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver the full range of AgilityEco services
  • Accurately recording all interactions using CRM systems and maintaining high data quality
  • Managing referrals and recognising when to escalate queries or opportunities
  • Ensuring all customer data is handled safely and in line with GDPR and company policies

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
