University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care for our clients in Chelsea, MI. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, promote independence, and support their well-being in a respectful and professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers safely.
  • Provide medication reminders and monitor client health as directed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in activities to promote mental and physical health.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain client confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and families.
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
