Outstanding Opportunities for Home Manager in Norwich

An exceptional nursing home based in Norwich, Norfolk, seeks a dedicated Home Manager, working under one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

The nursing home specialises in care for older people, providing a skilled team in person-centred nursing and dementia care:

Role Overview

Preferably, an NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience, though not strictly essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of staff and resources to ensure each resident enjoys a dignified and fulfilling life.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead and wider teams—healthcare, hospitality, and external regulators—to maintain high standards of individualised care.
  • Report to the Regional Operations Manager, creating and leading a vision for continuous improvement, driving the home towards outstanding provision.
  • Balance people and process management, requiring close collaboration with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

A compelling candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience managing a care home with a focus on high-quality care.
  • Strong knowledge and proven track record in meeting CQC standards, with strive towards Outstanding status.
  • Excellent communication skills fostering strong working relationships—internally with staff, and externally with households, professionals, and visitors.
  • A track record of marketing and commercial acumen in the private care sector, including successfully delivering good or outstanding-rated homes.
  • Passion for person-centred care and dedication to enhancing service quality.
  • Ability to contribute to and drive growth and development of the care service.
