The Role
To take responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the care home and achieve an industry-leading standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and effective management for all staff employed in the home.
- Promote a caring environment delivered according to the latest guidelines, best practice, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain a high level of resident satisfaction and excellent relationships with relatives, residents, purchasers, and external agencies to build and maintain a positive reputation in the local community.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of Home Manager experience in a residential and dementia care setting.
- Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation.
- Strong ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas.
