Registered Home Manager

North London, Hillingdon
£55,000 - £70,000 + Performance Bonus + Benefits

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a well-established, family-owned care provider to recruit a Registered Home Manager to oversee two neighbouring specialist services in Northwood, North London.

Unlike many dual-site management positions, this opportunity offers responsibility for just 28 residents across two Good-rated homes, located within a short walk of one another. The role combines operational leadership with clinical oversight, providing the autonomy to shape services, support your teams and continue delivering exceptional standards of care.

If you're looking for an organisation where your ideas are welcomed, your experience is valued and you'll work closely with a supportive senior leadership team, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

The Role

As Registered Home Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant running of both services, ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care while leading and developing two dedicated clinical teams.

You'll work closely with the Directors to drive quality, maintain excellent clinical standards and identify opportunities to further enhance both homes.

With experienced senior clinical staff already in place, this is a leadership role that allows you to focus on quality, governance and continuous improvement rather than constant firefighting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational leadership across both homes, creating a positive, supportive culture for residents and staff.
  • Ensure both services continue to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
  • Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting accountability and professional development.
  • Complete clinical and operational audits, implementing improvements where required.
  • Assess prospective residents and make informed admission decisions based on clinical suitability.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor occupancy, quality and service performance while supporting sustainable growth.
  • Manage budgets effectively and maintain excellent financial control.
  • Ensure effective governance, safeguarding and risk management across both services.
  • Act as the Registered Manager for both homes and provide visible, supportive leadership across each service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
