Home Manager – Greensleeves Care (Care Homes in England)

About the Role
As Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care in our residents’ lives. Your key responsibilities include:
- Creating a warm, caring environment that supports maximum independence, dignity, privacy, freedom of choice, and personal expression for all residents.
- Maintaining all legal and statutory records, including insurance certificates and care home registration. Investigating complaints, compiling reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance with CQC inspections.
- Ensuring accurate, up-to-date records under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and any subsequent legislation, available for inspection at any time.
- Overseeing all recruitment needs, ensuring qualified and suitable staff are hired.
- Organising inductees and training programmes, assessing ongoing needs to support staff development.
- Conducting regular supervisions, assessments, and team meetings to maintain a friendly, supportive, and caring environment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain adherence to legal, regulatory, and quality standards in care delivery.
- Lead recruitment, staff training, and performance assessments.
- Ensure robust financial management, including budgets and business plans.
- Collaborate with CQC inspectors and regulatory teams.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
Requirements
To apply, you must have:
- Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g., Registered Manager Award/Dean’s Diploma).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing/care home setting.
- Demonstrable experience managing a care home for older adults.
- Effective budgetary and strategic planning skills.
- Proficient English & Maths (to at least expected minimum entry levels).
