Home Manager Required – Care UK, Sleaford Manor Care Home
Location, Contract & Salary
- Care Home based (on-site), Sleaford
- Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Salary: Up to £70,000 plus performance bonus

The Role
As Home Manager at Sleaford Manor, you’ll be responsible for:
- The day-to-day leadership of all staff and operations
- Ensuring the home delivers care that meets industry-leading standards
- Maximising resident satisfaction, family engagement, and community trust
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & People Management
- Oversee ** recruitment, training, and performance** of all care staff
- Foster a supportive, inclusive culture where teamwork drives excellence

Care Excellence & Compliance
- Promote a high-standard, resident-centred environment
- Adhere to latest best practices, legislative requirements (including Care Standards Act, Health & Safety Legislation)
- Oversee quality assurance to maintain consistent, compassionate care

Financial & Operational Leadership
- Manage the financial performance of the home (budgets, profitability, resource allocation)
- Ensure cost-efficient delivery without compromising care quality

Community & External Relations
- Build strong partnerships with relatives, purchasers, and external agencies
- Strengthen local reputation through transparent, caring communication
- Drive innovation to enhance resident well-being and care experiences
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- 2–3+ years’ proven experience as a Home Manager in residential care
- Specialist knowledge in elders’ care, dementia support, and palliative care
- Strong financial management skills (budget control, accounts oversight)
- Regulatory understanding of Care Standards, Health & Safety, and social care governance
- Commercial acumen – ability to improve service delivery through innovation and adaptability
- Exceptional communication & stakeholder engagement skills

- Experience in leading teams through change (e.g., new policies, technology adoption)
- Familiarity with Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections
- A passion for promoting independence and dignity in elderly care
