About The Role
As Care Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational, clinical and commercial performance of the home. You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of care, governance and compliance are consistently achieved while creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents can truly feel at home.
Working closely with the Operations Team, Clinical Leads, Deputy Manager and wider multidisciplinary team, you will drive continuous improvement, support staff development and ensure the home delivers outstanding outcomes for every resident.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop high-performing clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred care that exceeds regulatory standards.
- Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, company policies and clinical governance frameworks.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning and accountability.
- Monitor quality, care standards and clinical performance through regular audits and reviews.
- Provide clinical supervision, coaching and competency assessments where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
- Ensure effective safeguarding practices and robust risk management processes are in place.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, retention and workforce development.
- Oversee staff appraisals, supervision, mandatory training and professional development.
- Ensure all admissions are appropriately assessed and support smooth resident transitions.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively whilst maintaining exceptional standards of care.
- Work collaboratively with regulatory bodies, commissioners and local healthcare professionals.
- Champion innovation, best practice and continuous service improvement across the home.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all employment legislation and regulatory requirements.

About You
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care.
You'll Have
- A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a residential and nursing care home.
- A valid NMC Pin (Registered Nurse).
- Strong knowledge of elderly care, dementia care and clinical governance.
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding resident experiences.
- The ability to achieve KPIs while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

- Competitive salary of £65 - £70k per annum (Dependant on experience)
