Role: HomeLink Advisor Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week, Thursday, Friday, and alternate Wednesdays, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Worker Type: Hybrid Salary: Grade D – £26,824 to £27,694 (pro-rated to £13,412–£13,847 annually) Location: Harvey Road, NG8 3BB, Nottingham

About the Role
As a HomeLink Advisor, your primary responsibilities include:
- Verifying applicants’ eligibility for the housing register
- Placing applicants in appropriate priority bands based on allocation policy
- Providing high-quality customer advice on housing options
- Preparing weekly property ads across the partnership and applying eligibility criteria
- Building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

About You – Core Requirements
We’re looking for candidates with experience in housing services who can:
- 1. Demonstrate practical experience in housing and adaptability
- 2. Make accurate, timely decisions under pressure, with tact and sensitivity in eligibility assessments
- 3. Exhibit a firm yet fair approach to customer service, eligibility assessments, and relationship management
- 4. Show strong organisational skills, prioritisation, and efficiency in workload management
- 5. Hold or be working towards:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Housing Management or
- A partial qualification with the Chartered Institute of Housing
- 6. Display excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
