The Vacancy

At Amplius, this nine-month fixed term contract as Homeownership Manager (Retirement Living) offers you a great opportunity to step into a wider leadership role. You’ll lead a team supporting later living homeownership schemes across multiple locations, developing your expertise in leasehold management, customer engagement and service improvement, while making a real impact for residents and communities.
Salary: £48,748.13 (plus car allowance of £2,750.28) per year
Contract: Nine-month fixed term contract
Your week: 36.25 hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm
Location: Field-based role covering schemes across Nottingham and Leicester.

Snapshot of your role
- Lead and manage a team delivering homeownership services, including lone workers, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for customers across multiple locations.
- Carry out regular scheme visits and inspections to ensure health, safety and fire compliance standards are met, arranging follow-up actions where needed.
- Manage customer enquiries, complaints and complex or challenging situations in a calm, professional and solution-focused way.
- Apply leasehold and housing management knowledge to resolve issues, including service charges, permissions and legal requirements such as Section 20.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a line management role, including managing lone workers in housing or similar services.
- Experience in leasehold or older persons housing services, with a good understanding of customer needs in this setting.
- Strong resident engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships.
- Confidence in dealing with challenging residents, complaints and difficult situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions.
- Experience working independently and managing teams or services across multiple locations.
Important - DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and right to work in the UK are all essential requirements. We do not provide sponsorship.
